Welcome to Azhar Bernese Mountain Dogs!

We are a small kennel located in Ste-Marie-de-Kent, NB. We fell in love with the Bernese Mountain Dog years ago and have actively been involved in showing and breeding since 2011. Our Goals is to produce sound, Healthy, outgoing, friendly temperaments that excel in conformation as well as retain the natural working abilities of the Bernese Mountain Dog.

We enjoy confirmation, rally and draft work with our Bernese. We always breed with the betterment of the breed in mind, screening for hereditary diseases and researching pedigree to find the best dogs for our breeding program. We are passionate about our breed and committed in entering all of our dogs in the Berner Garde Health data base. This is a essential tool that helps our breed! We are a member in good standing with the Canadian Kennel Club, and the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Canada.

We also have raise wonderful Papillon dogs, however are no longer actively breeding !
